Some great sites listed - I'm afraid I don't have any to add.

A quick workout before work:

3x3 45# hang snatch cleans (worked on balance and depth)
3x3 65# hang squat cleans (worked on speed under the bar)
3x2 53# TSC pistols (bottom pause, no floor touches)
3x2 62# TSC pullups (dead hang, throat to bar, no kip)
3x8 62# 2 hand "American" kb swings (worked hip snap, keeping shoulders packed)

WOD @ BrandX today:
3 rounds for time of-
400m run
Hanging squat cleans, 95# 21reps
3 rope ascents


Great WOD today, happy I skipped yesterday's to get in a rest day this week! Had to use the knoted rope to complete the 9 ascents. Ended the day with a couple games of 2-on-2 hoover ball - FUN!!!

If I may request the blessings of the Crossfit community towards one of our newer members (a few months into the program), Tim Nichols. Tim is my co-worker. He is a great cop, athlete and a great guy. That being said, what a DORK. He managed to shoot himself in the leg while driving to the gym in his car go do the Run 800m/Wallball/ Run 800m WOD. This happened yesterday and he is really embarrased about the whole thing. Who can blame him? He's not totally sure how it happened but I'm guessing it had something to do with a trigger being pulled and a muzzle being pointed in an unfortunate direction.

The bullet went "through and through" and caused mostly tissue damage but he's still not going to be very active (or working) for a few weeks. This will most likely drive Tim crazy as he really loves the Crossfit program. Enjoy your time off, Tim and I/We wish you a speedy recovery. The WODs will be waiting for you when you get better.

That was a very nice msg Dan S. That said, thanks a lot for using my last name. Anyway I really think that Crossfit helped to make my leg so strong and healthy that the bullet missed the really important stuff. YAYY for Crossfit's physical assistance but maybe I should have opted for some mental WOD'S.

Been getting back to the gym for the last few months with suprising regularity. It's amazing how fast you can see gains if you push yourself a bit.

Mostly strength and spot training. Little cardio, not as much as i should.

I've always had a rather weak upper body, so that has been my focus, arms, shoulders, uper torso and back.

Nothing radical.
