Other ramifications.

Eventually, this kind of technology will form one half of what could be a molecular teleportation device. Yes thats pure star trek stuff, and i'm not even a fan. But having an interest in interstellar travel forces me to consider everything. I have been told they have already "beamed" a simple particle across a great distance, but have yet to find any documentation of this supposed feat.

But back to the topic, this has definate use in the future for a myrad of things byond simple medical ones. My own proposal of a resonance-based viral detection and localization machine may have been accomplished by alternate means if i am interpreting these reports corectly! yay!

I care not who furthers technology, only that it is used to benifit mankind. Are there any open journals that allow interchange of info and ideas between people without phd's? I personally reject organized learning institutions in favor of independent research. If you teach them all the same, how will we form new ideas?
